Acquired Taste is an Austin-based handcrafted home lifestyle brand specializing in incense holders and curated incense. Founded in 2023 by Hannah Jackson, each holder is hand-cast and painted in small batches in Austin, TX. Acquired Taste is currently stocked at Urban Outfitters and available direct to consumer at acquiredtaste.me.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Hannah Jackson is a New York City native, now based in Austin, whose parents immigrated from Guatemala and West Africa. As an Afro-Latina founder, Hannah built Acquired Taste from scratch, entirely self-funded, combining her background in design, culture, and intentional living into a brand that sits at the intersection of home, ritual, and identity.
Hannah is also the creator of Scents of Memory™, a bookable immersive sensory writing experience now available for corporate events, cultural programming, and wellness spaces.
